Summary

Ika Vision is hiring a Data Engineer to support its clients in the design, implementation, and industrialization of modern data platforms (Big Data, pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses).

Key Information

Location: Paris (hybrid depending on client)
Experience: 5+ years
Contract: Permanent (CDI) / Freelance (to be adjusted)
Remote work: 2 to 3 days per week
Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines.
• Collect, transform, and structure data from multiple sources.
• Implement data lakes and data warehouses.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.
• Optimize performance of batch and streaming processes.
• Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and business teams.
• Contribute to defining data architectures.
• Document data flows and best practices.

Profile (5+ years)

• Proven experience in Data Engineering (minimum 5 years).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python / Scala).
• Experience with Big Data environments.
• Solid knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
• Comfortable with batch and streaming processing.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with business stakeholders.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and analytical mindset.

Data: Data Lake, Data Warehouse
Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP
Orchestration: Airflow
Databases: PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake

• Experience with Cloud Data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Awareness of Data Quality / Data Governance topics.
